Service Overview
Wingtech focuses on the in-depth development of NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things) low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology, providing a full-chain solution from chip-level hardware design, communication protocol stack optimization to industry application implementation. As a low-power wide-area communication technology standardized by 3GPP, NB-IoT features wide coverage (communication is still possible 10 meters underground), low power consumption (battery life exceeding 10 years), and large connection capacity (supporting over 50,000 devices in a single cell). It is widely used in scenarios such as smart meter reading, environmental monitoring, and asset tracking, where data volume is small but long-term stable transmission is required. Wingtech helps customers quickly build low-cost, highly reliable IoT systems through self-developed low-power algorithms, multi-band compatible modules, and cloud management platforms, promoting the digital transformation of traditional industries.
Service Content
NB-IoT hardware development
The NB-IoT module is designed to support global mainstream frequency bands such as B1/B3/B5/B8/B20/B28, and is compatible with platforms from Huawei, Qualcomm, Unicore, and others. It is also adapted to different national operator networks (such as China Mobile B8 and Vodafone B20).
Develop low-power terminal devices, such as smart water meters, gas meters, smoke detectors, geomagnetic vehicle detectors, etc., with standby current <5μA, supporting solar or battery power supply.
Optimization of communication protocol stack
Optimize PSM (Power Save Mode) and eDRX (Extended Discontinuous Reception) parameters to reduce device power consumption while ensuring real-time data transmission (e.g., the reporting interval for water meter data can be set between 1 hour and 24 hours).
Implement the CoAP+DTLS lightweight security protocol to reduce packet overhead and enhance the transmission success rate in weak network environments (>99.5%).
Cloud platform integration
Develop a NB-IoT device management platform that supports functions such as batch activation of devices, firmware updates (FOTA), and fault diagnosis, with the capability to manage over 1 million devices on a single platform.
Integrating with mainstream platforms such as Alibaba Cloud IoT and Huawei OceanConnect, we provide data visualization, API interfaces, and rule engines to facilitate customers' rapid integration of business systems.
Security and authentication services
Integrated with SE security chip, it supports the national cryptography SM4 encryption and TEE trusted execution environment to prevent data theft and device forgery.
Assist clients in completing global operator certifications (such as China Mobile network access permission, AT&T certification) and industry safety compliance (such as gas meter SIL2 certification).
Low-power algorithm customization
Optimize device hibernation strategies based on business scenarios (such as scheduled reporting and event triggering). For example, the smart manhole cover only wakes up to report when tilted, extending the battery life to over 5 years.
Application scenarios
Smart City
Deploy NB-IoT smart manhole covers to monitor inclination and water level overflow in real time, and trigger timely alarms through low-power transmission to reduce the risk of urban flooding.
Installing NB-IoT streetlight controllers can automatically adjust brightness based on light intensity and enable remote control through the cloud, reducing energy consumption by over 30%.
public utilities
Develop NB-IoT smart water/gas meters that support tiered pricing and abnormal energy usage alarms (such as water leakage detection), addressing the issues of high costs and data lag associated with manual meter reading.
Deploy NB-IoT fault indicators in the power grid to monitor line temperature and current in real-time, quickly locate short-circuit points, and shorten the time for power outage repairs.
environmental monitoring
Deploy NB-IoT water quality sensors to monitor parameters such as pH value and dissolved oxygen. Long-term monitoring in remote areas is achieved through solar power supply, and the data is uploaded to the environmental protection department's platform.
Install NB-IoT noise monitors to collect real-time noise data at construction sites and major traffic routes. When noise levels exceed the standard, an automatic alarm will be triggered and the data will be pushed to the urban management department.
Asset tracking
Develop NB-IoT logistics tags that can be attached to containers and cold chain vehicles, reporting location, temperature, and humidity in real-time to prevent goods from being lost or spoiling.
Integrating an NB-IoT module into the shared bicycle lock enables low-power positioning and electronic fence management, thereby reducing operation and maintenance costs.
Agricultural Internet of Things
Deploy NB-IoT soil moisture sensors to monitor soil humidity, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content, guide precise irrigation and fertilization, and save 20% of water resources.
Install NB-IoT livestock ear tags to track the location and activity levels of cattle and sheep, prevent them from getting lost, and monitor their health status.
Service Advantages
Ultra-low power consumption design
By utilizing hardware-level power management chips and software hibernation algorithms, the average power consumption of the device is reduced to 60% of the industry standard, thereby extending the battery life to 5-10 years.
Global frequency band coverage
The module supports the frequency bands of mainstream global operators, enabling customers to quickly adapt their products to markets such as China, Europe, and Southeast Asia, reducing the cost of secondary development.
High-reliability transmission
By adopting a retransmission mechanism and channel coding optimization, the success rate of data upload can still be guaranteed to be >99% in weak network environments such as basements and metal cabinets, reducing false negatives.
Rapid deployment capability
cost optimization
By optimizing chip selection and leveraging mass production economies of scale, we aim to keep the cost of NB-IoT modules at the lowest level in the industry, helping customers reduce the unit price of their terminals.
Case Introduction
Case 1: Smart Water Meter Project of a Water Group
Wenge Technology deployed 500,000 NB-IoT smart water meters for a provincial water group, reducing standby power consumption to 3μA through the PSM mode, achieving a battery life of 8 years. After the system went online, the meter reading success rate increased from 92% to 99.8%, the cost of manual meter reading decreased by 70%, and the leakage rate dropped by 15%. It was awarded the "Intelligent Water Meter Demonstration Project by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development".
Case 2: Environmental monitoring system of a certain agricultural park
Wenge Technology has deployed 200 NB-IoT environmental sensors in a thousand-mu agricultural park to monitor soil moisture, air temperature and humidity, and light intensity in real time. The data is uploaded to the park management platform through the NB-IoT network. The system automatically controls irrigation equipment according to crop needs, saving 35% of water. At the same time, it analyzes and optimizes planting schemes through historical data, increasing yields by 20%.
